Is it down for everyone, or just me?
When a website won't load, the first question is always the same: is the site actually down, or is the problem on your end? IsDownOrOnline answers that in seconds. Enter any domain above and we'll connect to it from our server, just like a browser would, and report whether it responds. If it loads for us but not for you, the issue is probably local — your connection, your device, or your network.
How the checker works
We send a real HTTP request to the address you enter and measure the response. A successful reply (an HTTP status in the 200–399 range) means the server is reachable and serving content, so we mark it online. A failed connection, a timeout, or a server error means it looks down. We also show the response time in milliseconds so you can spot a site that's technically up but painfully slow.
